This project was done for my environment digital painting class’s final exam. I decided to take inspiration from Vietnamese architecture, especially Hanoi architecture. My idea was to create a scene of an abandoned housing complex set in the 80’s, and show what was left behind, and who might have lived there in the past.
I recorded a timelapse of the final painting within Clip Studio Paint, which is my favorite program for digital painting.
This is a piece I’m very fond of, and I hope you will enjoy it just as much.
